Established in 1998, Caucasus University (CU) offers high-quality education, international programs, and practice-oriented teaching across various disciplines. It consists of schools in Business, Law, Media, Technology, Architecture and Design, Governance, Humanities and Social Sciences, Tourism, Medicine and Healthcare Management, Economics, and Education.
CU grants Bachelor, Master, Doctor, and Medical Doctor degrees in accordance with Georgian legislation. It holds the prestigious TEDQUAL Certificate from the World Tourism Organization, making it a pioneering institution in the region.
As a member of the AACSB since 2007, CU is undergoing accreditation, with the School of Business progressing towards its final stage. Collaboration with 200 partner universities in 54 countries allows for student and faculty exchanges, dual degree programs, and diverse international experiences.
CU graduates enjoy impressive employment rates, with 98% finding work in private, public, and international sectors within Georgia and worldwide. The university boasts a spacious campus equipped with modern facilities and is one of Georgia’s largest higher education institutions.
The historic CU building, constructed in 1909 and formerly an Armenian seminary, has been meticulously restored. In Batumi, CU has been offering educational programs in Tourism, Law, and Economics since 2010. Construction is underway for a new campus in Batumi, featuring state-of-the-art infrastructure, a library, laboratories, sports fields, a swimming pool, and student dormitories. The Batumi campus will expand to include the Caucasus Maritime School and Culinary Academy, supported by a training center.
